Join us for a free carnival-style walk through celebration of science of the future that will provide education and entertainment for the whole family!
Multiple stations will introduce attendees to a variety of short, hands-on experiments and displays about genetically modified organisms, biotechnology, carbon footprints, renewable energy sources and more. Extract DNA from strawberries, learn how to pipette, build and launch rockets, test how carbon dioxide changes the acidity of water, and more!
Contributors of this event include WCC employees and students, BioNetwork, Cliffs of the Neuse State Park, Hawk Ridge Falconry, the Aurora Fossil Museum, and others.
This event is open to the whole family, and no pre-registration is required.
Activities will be spread throughout the first floor of the Wayne Learning Center building at Wayne Community College, 3000 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.
