Agritourism

People sometimes describe us as a quaint, rural, farmers and southern, but we like to call ourselves down-to-earth kind of people. Goldsboro Wayne-County has acres of open land, punctuated by long shimmering rows of summer crops (like our cucumbers!), grazing livestock, and Muscadine laden vineyards. Put away the phones and social media. Step away from the metropolitan hustle and bustle, and get some fresh air. Visit our local farms to experience a simpler lifestyle, to understand where our foods come from, and to celebrate American tradition!

A Secret Garden Winery

Located just five miles north of Goldsboro, this winery is situated on a family farm. A selection of naturally fermented wines are produced from the area’s native grape and the official fruit of NC, the Muscadine.

Odom Farming Company

Third generation farmers who decided in 2010 to do something a little different than those generations before and open our farm up for families and groups to come have a great time on the farm.  Our goal is to bring people back to the farm, get them excited about agriculture, and help kids realize that food actually comes from a farm and not a grocery store shelf.
